Jarzębowski: I will start to play in September

“I hope that I’ll play at least 45 minutes in mid-September. At first, probably in a match of the Młoda Ekstraklasa” – said Tomasz Jarzębowski in an interview for “Przegląd Sportowy”. Legia’s midfielder suffered an injury in the game against Wisła in Cracow in May. He had to have a rehabilitation after his knee injury for the last few months. He mostly trained in a gym. He started however full-load trainings more than one week ago.
“This is a very unpleasant feeling when you want to play, and you can only walk on crutches. Fortunately, this is all behind me. My knee isn’t sore and it doesn’t swell” – said “Jarza”.

Jarzębowski’s contract expires in June 2010. It will be extended only if the footballer spends 900 minutes on the field this season. “As yet, I’m not worrying about this clause. I think that I did bring something to the team in the spring. I hope that it will derive an advantage from my attendance on the pitch” – stated Jarzębowski.
