Viareggio Cup: Young Legia 4-1 Vicenza

Footballers of Young Legia defeated 4-1 Vicenza in the last match of the Viareggio Cup. There was a 1-1 draw after the first half. The next three goals were scored after the break.
To have theoretical chances to win the promotion to further games, Young Legia’s players had to win this match not only by at least three goals, but also games in other groups had to finish with advantageous results. They managed to fulfil the first condition. Unfortunately, due to disadvantageous situation in other groups they dropped out of the cup.

If our footballers had stroke two more goals in this game or if they had scored one goal more in the match against Livorno, they would have been promoted to the Viareggio Cup’s 1/8 finale.
