Legia 3-1 Pogoń
Hugollek, źródło: Legionisci.com
In the game between two teams whose fans are friends Legia Warsaw defeated 3-1 Pogoń at Łazienkowska on Saturday evening. Nevertheless, these were footballers from Szczecin who were leading 1-0 after the first half of the match thanks to Bartosz Ława’s shot.
After the break Legia’s players pulled themselves together and managed to strike three goals. What’s interesting, two of them were penalty kicks (properly executed by Ivica Vrdoljak and Wladimer Dwaliszwili). The final goal was struck by Tomasz Brzyski. This has been his first goal since he became Legia’s footballer.
Both Legia’s and Pogoń’s supporters had a great time at the stadium. They unfurled a huge stands flag with a giant inscription “LEGIA” on it. Besides, they presented an amazing pyrotechnics show.
There were nearly 21.500 people gathered in the stands.
